Joseph Armstrong, LPCC-S
Joseph has worked as a Licensed Clinical Associate for two years and as a Fully Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor for 6 years. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s in psychology, continued into the master’s program at Eastern Kentucky University for mental health counseling Under a CACREP accredited Program, which sets standards for providing education in the field of Counseling. Between the two Degree is he made the Dean’s list, lectured on group counseling, Lectured on the DSM-V and Grief loss. Joseph also has extensive training in Mindfulness practices and is a supervisor for individuals seeking full licensure in the mental health field.
Joseph has experience in counseling at the individual and group settings, assessments, substance abuse, Parenting, life change, grief loss, suicide ideations, self-harm, and relationship issues. He focuses on affirming and supporting individuals to find themselves and move past conflict with a better insight on themselves through CBT, Mindfulness Practices, and building coping skills.
