Frith Young, CSA

I’m Frith Young, a Community Support Associate at G & A Counseling and a Kentucky Certified Peer Support Specialist. My experience spans diverse settings including residential treatment programs, sober living environments, and private healthcare where I provided end-of-life and palliative care. My background working with children in Montessori education taught me to honor each individual’s unique personality and emotional needs—a principle I carry into my work with clients of all ages.

I firmly believe healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. True recovery involves the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and life circumstances. Often, the seemingly small things—daily routines, relationships, or everyday tasks—can become significant barriers to progress. I partner with clients to navigate these areas, creating a foundation that enhances their work with therapists and treatment teams.

When not at work, I enjoy family time, audio drama podcasts, Sherlock Holmes mysteries, and researching niche topics. Over the years, I’ve accumulated a wealth of varied knowledge that often proves surprisingly useful in supporting clients.

I’m honored to be part of the team at G & A Counseling and look forward to supporting you in building a meaningful, healthy, and empowered life alongside your treatment team.
